Wie geht unsere Gesellschaft mit ihrer Vergangenheit und Zukunft um, die sich in Geb\u00e4uden manifestiert?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Geb\u00e4ude sind mehr als nur H\u00fcllen, die Schutz bieten. Geb\u00e4ude sind Teil unserer Gesellschaft und pr\u00e4gen unsere Denk- und Handlungsweisen. Wir bauen sie mit einem bestimmten Zweck, aber dieser Zweck kann sich im Laufe der Jahre \u00e4ndern. Wenn Materialien und Stile veralten, \u00fcberdenken wir ihre Zweckbestimmung. Aber das Alte lebt in unseren St\u00e4dten und in unseren K\u00f6pfen weiter.

Das sind die Fragen, mit denen sich die Architekturtheorie besch\u00e4ftigt. Und das sind die Fragen, mit denen sich die Illustrationen f\u00fcr das Institut f\u00fcr Architekturtheorie an der Universit\u00e4t Hannover besch\u00e4ftigen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

In mehreren Online-Sitzungen zwischen Berlin und Hannover haben wir uns \u00fcber den Kern ihrer Arbeit unterhalten, den wir als Designer und Illustratoren vorher nicht kannten. Und danach habe ich einen Weg f\u00fcr die Illustration gefunden. Ich nahm den Bogen eines Fensters des Universit\u00e4tsgeb\u00e4udes. Ein altes Schloss, das vor Hunderten von Jahren f\u00fcr einen anderen Zweck erbaut wurde und nun als Universit\u00e4t genutzt wird. Diesen Bogen habe ich dupliziert, geformt und verstreut. So entstanden Str\u00f6me, die in Knoten m\u00fcndeten oder sich im Nebel verzweigten. So sind wir. Schwebend und suchend, mit der Kern-Erinnerung (Core Memory) unserer Vorfahren im Gep\u00e4ck, gehen wir vorw\u00e4rts richtung Zukunft.

Das Ergebnis war eine zentrale Illustration und ein Siebdruckplakat. Das Plakat konnte f\u00fcr die kommenden Semester erneut \u00fcberdruckt werden. So wurde die Erinnerung an die Vergangenheit bewahrt und gleichzeitig an neue Bed\u00fcrfnisse angepasst.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Die Grundlage bildete der Bogen eines Fensters in des alten Schlosses, in dem heute die Universit\u00e4t untergebracht ist. Durch Vervielf\u00e4ltigung, \u00dcberlagerung und Verbindung entstand eine Illustration. \u00c4hnlich wie bei der Verwendung von Geb\u00e4uden. Es handelte sich um einen Entwurf, der nicht f\u00fcr den Druck und daher auch nicht f\u00fcr die Website verwendet wurde.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
